MUSEUM OF TEATRO POVERO DI MONTICCHIELLO
The ancient granaries of the village now house the TEPOTRATOS Museum of Traditional Tuscan Popular Theater, which allows the visitor-spectator to perceive emotions, immersed in a communicative universe made up of noises, voices, fragments of dialogues, objects and images that recall the peasant world.
It is not a museum about the Teatro Povero, but a museum of the Teatro Povero di Monticchiello.

HORSE RIDING

THEATER and CULTURE
The Teatro Povero di Monticchiello has been staged every year since 1967 between July and August. The show is written, directed and performed by the people of the town, which is why it has been defined as an “autodrama”, as the citizens, by acting themselves, testify their reality and authentic existential and social situations.
Poli has always acted. We are proud to support our small community in this way!
